Hi I'm Mackenzie Dougherty and I’m the woman behind the camera. I’ve always liked making videos ever since I was in middle school and creating silly YouTube videos. I was thankful enough to go to college for broadcast journalism and then went on to be a news reporter for NBC Montana. While I really enjoyed my time reporting I realized what I enjoyed the most was making videos and telling a story. This is when I realized my true calling, wedding videography.

Love is the most important thing in my life and arguably everyone’s.  Weddings truly hold a special place in my heart and getting to capture them for someone else means the world to me. I am actually married myself. My husband and I live in Bigfork, MT with our three golden retrievers. I am a total sucker for a dog at a wedding since mine are so important to me. I am an avid hiker so if you are looking to elope in the mountains count me in!

If you hire me you are getting someone who will capture all of the small details you may have missed on your big day. I will only guide you if I need, but for the most part I like to hang back and catch all the moments in between, not just the big parts of the day. My favorite part of a wedding is the vows, especially when they are written by the couple. It really helps me edit a video that's even more unique to just you two and the emotion the words create is unmatched.
